Trinidad Gallego Prieto (1913-2011) was a Spanish nurse and midwife, a committed communist and republican. Born in Madrid, she played a significant role during the Spanish Civil War, organizing nursing committees and contributing to medical care under dire conditions. After the war, she faced severe persecution, including imprisonment along with her mother and grandmother. Despite her struggles, she remained active in advocating for women's rights and historical recognition, co-founding the Association of Women of 36 in 1997. Her oral testimonies are preserved in the Barcelona Historical Archive.
