Traugott Glöckler is a former German shot putter born on January 12, 1944, in Gochsheim, Kraichtal. He won a silver medal at the 1967 Universiade and placed fourth at the 1968 European Indoor Championships and at the 1969 European Indoor Championships. At the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, he finished twelfth, and he ranked eighteenth at the 1972 Munich Olympics. He achieved his personal best of 19.96 meters on August 24, 1969, in Nieder-Olm, and represented USC Heidelberg throughout his athletic career.
