Toyosaburō Satō (May 19, 1912 - September 11, 1999) was a Japanese economist hailing from Aichi Prefecture. He graduated from Nagoya Higher Commercial School and later served as an associate professor and then professor at Yokohama City University. In 1978, he retired at the age of 66, becoming an emeritus professor. His significant contributions to the field of economics are noted in Japan’s academic circles.
