Toshiko Takeuchi (September 10, 1905 - April 7, 1945) was a Japanese poet known for children's songs, song lyrics, and fairy tales. She was the niece of philosopher and world explorer Tetsunobu Watanabe. Born in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, she made significant contributions to children's literature and was known for her lyrical poetry aimed at young audiences. Despite her contributions, her life was cut short during World War II.
