Tosca Kramer (1903-1976) was a prominent New Zealand-born American violinist and violist who played a key role in promoting classical music in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of conductor Kurt Berger and painter Lucy Berger. Tosca excelled as a solo concert artist and founded the Tulsa Philharmonic with her family. As a respected teacher, she mentored many musicians, including virtuoso Fredell Lack. Kramer held principal viola positions in major Oklahoma orchestras and served on music faculties of esteemed universities, earning advanced degrees later in life. She remains a celebrated figure in Tulsa's musical history.
