Torsten Stiig Jansen is a Danish journalist born on July 24, 1963. He started his career at Ekstra Bladet before moving to DR in 1996, where he served as a foreign reporter, US correspondent, foreign editor, and news anchor for TV Avisen. After leaving DR in 2007, he became the cultural attaché at Denmark's embassy in Washington D.C. Currently, he is an associate partner at the public affairs bureau LEAD Agency in Copenhagen. Jansen is also an author, with his latest book published in 2020, exploring US-Denmark relations.
