Tord Axel Eliason was a Swedish architect born on December 23, 1909, in Grebbestad. He graduated from Chalmers tekniska institut, first from the lower division in 1929 and then the higher division in 1934. Eliason began working at the engineering office of Gothenburg's municipal real estate office in 1934, became the chief architect in 1941, and head of the technical investigation office in 1944. In 1952, he served as the building construction chief for the city of Gothenburg. He passed away on March 5, 1992.
