Tor Magnus Aulin, born September 12, 1948, in Malmö, is a Swedish computer scientist who served as a professor of information theory at Chalmers University of Technology from 2003 to 2012. He graduated as a civil engineer in 1974 and earned a Ph.D. in teletransmission theory in 1979. Aulin's research contributed to digital modulation methods used in GSM and Bluetooth. He faced termination from Chalmers in 2012 due to unacceptable behavior and allegations of inappropriate tweets, which he denied.
