Tor Sigurdsøn Evjen (1924-2002) was a Norwegian cybernetician and computer scientist known for his contributions to early Norwegian computers, including NUSSE. He studied theoretical physics at NTH and became the main programmer for NUSSE at the Central Institute for Industrial Research. He later worked in development departments for IBM and Norsk Hydro before serving as director at the Norwegian Council for Scientific and Industrial Research from 1967 to 1971, and then as research director at Elkem from 1971 to 1979.
