Tony Pabón (March 6, 1939 – January 21, 2014) was a Puerto Rican singer, trumpeter, and bandleader raised in New York. He played a significant role in the development of boogaloo music. His track "Pete's Boogaloo" is noted as the first boogaloo played on the radio, and he is also recognized for his mambo song "El Capitan" from the album La Protesta. His contributions helped shape the sound of Latin music in the United States.
