Tonatiuh Gutiérrez was a Mexican swimmer born on November 20, 1929, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. He represented Mexico in the Summer Olympics in 1948 and 1952. Gutiérrez also had a notable performance at the 1951 Pan American Games, where he secured two medals: a silver and a bronze in the men's freestyle events. He passed away in 2000.
