Tomoyuki Yamanobe (October 27, 1906 - October 1, 2004) was a Japanese researcher in dyeing and weaving. He graduated from Kyoto Imperial University and worked at the Tokyo Imperial Household Museum, later becoming part of the Tokyo National Museum. After retirement, he served as a professor at Tama Art University and became the director of the Toyama Memorial Museum. Yamanobe was also a collector of textiles and dolls from Japan, India, and Indonesia.
