Throughout his career, he represented numerous clubs including Castleford Tigers, Hull FC, and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. Notably, he was part of the Hull team that won the 2005 Challenge Cup Final. Saxton also played for the Featherstone Rovers and had a brief stint with York City Knights towards the end of his career.
