Tomiko Asabuki (February 27, 1917 - September 2, 2005) was a Japanese scholar of French literature, essayist, and translator. She is well-known for translating numerous works by Françoise Sagan, starting with "Bonjour tristesse." Additionally, she translated works by Simone de Beauvoir and had connections with Jean-Paul Sartre. Asabuki authored a semi-autobiographical novel titled "Beyond Love" and is also recognized for her essays on Paris and her familial background involving the Asabuki clan.
