Tomáš Tyrlík is a Czech Lutheran pastor and bishop of the Silesian Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (SCEAV). He studied theology in Bratislava, Erlangen, and Warsaw, and was ordained on July 31, 1994. Tyrlík has served in various congregations and was a senior in the Frýdek seniorate of SCEAV from 1998 to 2017. He was elected as pastor in June 2016 and took office in May 2017. He is involved with the Czech Bible Society and was elected chair of the Ecumenical Council of Churches in November 2021.
