Tomas Nordbäck was a Swedish painter and draftsman born on December 28, 1938, in Helsingborg, Sweden. He began his artistic career in 1957 and was active in Domsten near Helsingborg. A member of the northwest Skåne artist group Differenterna, his work is represented in Nationalmuseum and Statens konstråd, as well as museums in Malmö, Lund, Landskrona, and Helsingborg. Nordbäck created several public artworks, including 'Färgfönster' at the Helsingborg City Hall and 'Önskebrunnen' at Sundstorget. He served as a member of the Swedish Arts Council from 1988 to 1994 and was on Helsingborg's beautification council from 1994 to 2000.
