Tomáš Medek is a Czech sculptor born on March 1, 1969, in Brno. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at VUT Brno, completing his master's degree between 1997 and 1998. Since 1998, he has been involved in teaching at the same faculty in the Sculpture Atelier I led by Michal Gabriel. Medek's work includes mobile wooden structures, plant-inspired objects, and geometric sculptures based on quarter and sixth-circle segments, which he creatively combines. He also engages in graphics, particularly large-scale digital prints influenced by triangular and square meshes used in 3D technologies.
