Tomas Jörgen Fischer was a Swedish book publisher and businessman born on December 1, 1940, in Härnösand and raised in Sundsvall. He started his career as a stockbroker at Carnegie Investment Bank alongside financier Erik Penser. In 1983, he founded Fischer & Partners and later purchased the Author's Publishing House, renaming it Fischer & Co. He was also involved in controversies regarding the assassination of Olof Palme and faced legal issues with the Swedish Tax Agency. He died on August 15, 2022, at the age of 81 in Saint Barthélemy.
