Thomas Roy Southworth, born on April 12, 1944, in Washington, D.C., is a retired American slalom canoeist who was active during the 1960s and 1970s. He achieved significant success by winning a bronze medal in the mixed C-2 team event at the 1969 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships held in Bourg St.-Maurice. Additionally, Southworth represented his country in the C-2 event at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where he finished in 12th place.
