Tom Schandy is a Norwegian nature photographer, journalist, editor, author, and publisher born in 1962. He gained significant recognition by winning the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award in 2009, one of the world's largest nature photography competitions. Schandy is a member of the Norwegian Nature Photographers association and is associated with the photo agency Samfoto. He co-manages Forlaget Tom & Tom with Tom Helgesen, served as the editor for WWF-Norway's magazine Verdens Natur, and became co-editor of the new Norwegian magazine Natur & Foto in 2010.
