Tom Jackson Jr. is an American academic born on December 18, 1959. He served as the president of California Polytechnic University Humboldt, starting in fall 2019 and leaving in August 2024. Jackson is noted for managing the university's transition to a polytechnic institution. He has held previous positions, including president of Black Hills State University and vice president for student affairs at the University of Louisville. Additionally, he was the president of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
