Tokugawa Yoshiyasu (1921-1949) was a Japanese art researcher and bookbinder, born as the fourth son of Baron Tokugawa Yoshihisa. He studied aesthetics and art history at Tokyo Imperial University, and co-founded the literary magazine 'Akaye' with Yukio Mishima. Yoshiyasu also published works on art, including 'Sōtatsu's Ink Painting.' He died at a young age of 28 due to acute bacterial endocarditis, and his correspondence with Mishima was later published, highlighting their friendship.
