Toivo Elomaa (1904-1980) was a Finnish lyricist known by the pseudonym Topi. He had a diverse career, working as a commercial assistant, lumberjack, boiler room caretaker, construction worker, and in mining and drilling. His notable works include the foxtrot 'Niilin rannalla' composed by Uuno Mattila in 1933, 'Kotimaan kaiho' by Aarne Nuotio also from 1933, and the polka 'Viipurin Vihtori' by Valto Tynnilä in 1938, originally intended as an advertisement for a harmonica factory in Viipuri.
