Tobías Díaz Blaitry (March 23, 1919 – October 2, 2005) was a Panamanian poet and educator. He graduated as a Professor of Philosophy and History from the University of Panama and earned a Master's in Philosophy from the University of Chicago. He obtained his doctorate in Madrid in 1963. Blaitry served as the Secretary General of the University of Panama in the 1960s and taught philosophy and logic there. His emotional and intellectually-philosophical poetry has been recognized with multiple Ricardo Miró Awards.
