Timo Jämsen was a Finnish singer and guitarist born on December 18, 1942, in Pori and passed away on May 8, 2012, in Helsinki. He won a prestigious singing competition on November 16, 1959. He was a member of the band The Strangers and later The Escuires in the 1960s and then again in the 1990s. In 1990, Jämsen released an album titled 'Poika ja kitara' featuring works from 1960 to 1963. His official name was Keijo Tauvo Ahola.
