Thord Bylund (1939-2013) was a Swedish archivist known for his significant contributions to genealogy. He served as the head of Svensk Arkivinformation and was an archivist at the Landsarkivet in Härnösand. He was active in genealogical societies and authored numerous books and articles on genealogical subjects. Bylund received several honors, including a royal medal in 2000 and a prestigious award in 2004. He was married to nurse Gunilla Beijer and had three children with her.
