Thomas Riggs was an English sailor born on May 22, 1903, in Hendon. He competed in the 1920s and was the son of Walter Riggs, an Olympic sailor himself. Riggs participated in the Paris 1924 Olympics, winning a silver medal in the 8-meter sailing event aboard the boat Emily, alongside teammates Edwin Jacob, Walter Riggs, Ernest Roney, and Harold Fowler. He also competed in the same event at the Amsterdam 1928 Olympics, finishing in seventh place. Thomas Riggs passed away on February 5, 1976, in Blyth.
