Thomas Jackson (1925–2003) was a prominent British trade unionist, known for his role as General Secretary of the Union of Post Office Workers. He led a significant 47-day national postal strike in 1971, representing 200,000 members. With a background starting as a telegraph boy, he rose through the ranks to become a national officer and eventually General Secretary, serving from 1967 to 1982. Jackson is also remembered for his distinctive handlebar moustache, which made him easily recognizable in the public eye.
