Thomas Edwin Drakes (1908–1974) was an English cricketer known for playing first-class cricket for Cambridge University in 1929. Born in Bardney, Lincolnshire, he debuted in minor counties cricket for Lincolnshire in 1926. Drakes made eight first-class appearances, scoring 140 runs and taking 20 wickets. His best bowling figures were 5 for 70 against Essex, marking his only five-wicket haul. Beyond cricket, he served as a second lieutenant in the Army Cadet Force during the 1950s. He passed away in Hainault in May 1974.
