Thomas C. Brickhouse, born in 1947, is an American philosopher recognized for his contributions to Ancient Greek philosophy. He holds the position of John Turner Professor of the Humanities and is a Professor of Philosophy, Emeritus, at the University of Lynchburg. Brickhouse co-authored the book 'Plato’s Socrates' and received the Outstanding Academic Book award in 1994 for this work with Nicholas D. Smith. His scholarly focus and insights into philosophical topics have made significant contributions to the field.
