Théophile Ahoyo was a Beninese diplomat born on October 3, 1931, in Dahomey. He served as an ambassador in Kinshasa and later held the position of Director-General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ahoyo was the older brother of Jean Roger Ahoyo, a university professor and later a minister. His great-grandfather was Behanzin, the last independent king of Dahomey. He passed away on February 14, 2013, in Orléans, France.
