Theofil Engström, born Erik Teofil Engström on March 27, 1915, in Blötberget, Ludvika, was a Swedish singer-evangelist, author, artist, musician, songwriter, and composer. Known as 'Thoffe', he became an evangelist at the age of 17 and took part in numerous revival campaigns. He toured the USA in 1956 and released seven albums in collaboration with Walter Erixon in the 1960s and 1970s. Engström was a member of Jubelkvartetten and wrote popular songs like 'Lugna hamn' and 'Det stod en blomma'. He was married to Marta Nilsson and had twin daughters born in 1955.
