Theo Fischer, also known as Fischer-Hägglingen, is a Swiss politician and notary born on December 25, 1937, in Hägglingen. He was a member of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) and served in the cantonal parliament of Aargau from 1973 to 1981. Fischer was elected to the National Council of Switzerland on November 26, 1979, where he participated in various committees. From 1995 to 1998, he was the leader of the SVP faction. He chose not to run in the 1999 parliamentary elections and left office on December 5, 1999.
