His older brother, Phutthathas Bhikkhu, is notable in the Buddhist community, while his sister, Mrs. Kimchoi Mekakun, is also recognized. Thammathāt is a significant figure in Thai Buddhism, known for founding the Dhammatana organization and Suan Mokkhaphalaram.
