Tetsumyō Matsubara (November 3, 1939 – June 6, 2010) was a Zen Buddhist monk from Tokyo, Japan. He served as the head priest of Ryūgen-ji, Ryūshō-in, and Butsumo-ji temples. Additionally, he was the chairman of the Japan Kyrgyz Scientific and Cultural Center. Matsubara was the son of Matsubara Taidō and had a brother-in-law who was a former president of Hanazono University.
