Tetiana Ostashchenko is a Ukrainian military doctor born on August 4, 1974, in Lviv. Since July 30, 2021, she has served as the commander of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and holds the rank of brigadier general. She is notable for being the first woman in Ukrainian history to command an army and the first woman to hold the rank of brigadier general.
