Maria Therese Tesso Akander, born in 1973, is a Swedish TV producer who has served as the CEO of Strix Television since 2015. She has a background as a project leader at Wegelius TV and started at Strix in 2003. After working at Meter Film & Television from 2007 to 2010, she became the production manager at Strix. In November 2012, she took a similar role at Mexiko Media. Strix re-hired Akander as deputy CEO in August 2013, eventually succeeding Henrik Stenlund as CEO in 2015.
