Tenkei Tachibana, born as Yoshifumi Nakayama on November 3, 1906, and passed away on June 1, 1984, was a Japanese painter. He initially adopted the pen name Kōhō Sonobe. Tachibana claimed to be a descendant of Emperor Meiji and falsely referred to himself as Princess Komatsu. He was influenced by Taikan Yokoyama and focused on creating shōheki-ga (hanging screen paintings). His notable works include 'Wagaku no zu' (a collection in the British Museum) and 'Fūjin Raijin zu' (Wind God and Thunder God).
