Teizō Aiso was a renowned Japanese literature scholar born on March 28, 1908, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Kokugakuin University and earned a Ph.D. in literature in 1960 with his work on the poetry of the Chronicles of Japan. Aiso also served as a professor at Keio University. He passed away at the age of 52 on April 13, 1960. His contributions to Japanese literature significantly impacted the academic community.
