Antônio Teixeira Filho was a Brazilian telenovela author born on October 10, 1922, in Cambará. He was known for his simple life, having graduated in Law but never practiced. Married to Carmem Lídia, he was the father of actress Clênia Teixeira and actor/composer Cleston Teixeira. He began writing telenovelas in 1964, with notable works including 'O Direito de Nascer,' 'Ídolo de Pano,' and 'A Menina do Veleiro Azul.' He joined Rede Globo in the early 80s, creating adaptations of novels by Lygia Fagundes Telles and Nelson Rodrigues before passing away in 1984.
