Teisaku Kobayashi (October 22, 1925 - March 8, 1987) was a Japanese physicist and snow researcher born in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. He graduated from Hokkaido Imperial University in 1948 and became a teacher at Ebetsu High School. Kobayashi worked at the Hokkaido University Low Temperature Science Institute, where he advanced the Nakatani-Kobayashi diagram on snow crystal formation and its relation to cloud temperature and humidity, earning the Japan Meteorological Society Prize in 1960.
