Ted Winter, born Edwin Jeffery Winter on January 25, 1909, was an Australian pole vaulter. He achieved fifth place at the 1938 British Empire Games in Sydney and won the Australian Championship in 1947 and 1948. Winter set a personal best of 3.93 meters in 1939. He passed away on June 2, 2009, in Springwood, New South Wales, marking the end of a notable career in athletics.
