Taylor Parkes (born April 30, 1972) is a British journalist recognized for his music journalism, particularly with Melody Maker from 1993 to 1998. He supported the Romo scene and championed artists like Saint Etienne and Pulp. Known for his criticism of unadventurous Britpop, Parkes also wrote for various publications and contributed to BBC Radio 6 Music. In 2015, he wrote a critical article on Jeremy Corbyn's leadership for The Quietus. Additionally, he is a co-creator of the podcast Chart Music, focusing on analysis of Top Of The Pops.
