Tatsuji Yokokura (January 2, 1904 - April 23, 1983) was a Japanese writer, playwright, and historian born in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. He worked as a resident writer at Tsukiji Small Theater and Shinjuku Moulin Rouge before turning to novel writing. Mentored by Hasegawa Shin, he was a member of the Shin Taka Association. Yokokura authored many historical novels and later produced scholarly writings on the history of the Edo period.
