Tamara Grigorievna Gabbe (sometimes Gabbé) was a Soviet writer, translator, folklorist, playwright, editor, and literary critic. Born in Saint Petersburg on March 3, 1903, she was known for publishing several children's fairy tale plays, including 'The City of Masters,' 'Advotia the Little Girl from Ryazan,' and 'The Crystal Slipper.' Gabbe contributed significantly to Soviet literature and culture before her death in Moscow on March 2, 1960.
