Takenobu Tanino (Tani no Takenobu), born on March 26, 1935, was a Japanese paper craft artist known for his expertise in the production of Najo Ganpi paper. He was recognized as an Important Intangible Cultural Asset (a Living National Treasure) in 2002 for his contributions to craft and was actively involved in his workshop, Taninoku Paper. Tanino passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 87 due to senescence. His artistic name was Takenobu Nari.
