Takeichi Kawasaki (March 23, 1904 – April 28, 1982) was a Japanese scholar of French literature, translator, and editor. He served as the third chief editor of 'Bungaku Kaidai' at Bungeishunjū. He graduated from Kyushu Imperial University, majoring in French literature. He argued for the establishment of prestigious literary awards, leading to the founding of the Akutagawa Prize and the Naoki Prize, which were formally inaugurated in the January 1935 issue of 'Bungeishunjū'.
