Takayoshi Kaneko (February 14, 1943 - March 30, 2006) was a renowned Japanese calligrapher born in Suginami, Tokyo. He studied under his father, Kaneko Kotei, a recipient of the Order of Culture. In 2003, he held a solo exhibition titled 'Takayoshi Kaneko - Writing Records of History', for which he was awarded the Mainichi Art Award. He is also known for his contribution to the art of calligraphy and has a son, Kaneko Daizo, who is also a calligrapher.
