Takashi Yokomatsu (July 19, 1913 - October 15, 2005) was a prominent Japanese researcher of modern Chinese thought and an educator. He served as the president of Yahata University, now known as Kyushu International University. Born in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, Yokomatsu was a leading authority on the works of Lu Xun and Fukuzawa Yukichi, both significant figures in Japanese intellectual history.
