Taikyue Ree (李 泰圭) was a prominent South Korean chemist, born on January 26, 1902, and passed away on October 26, 1992. He belonged to the Jeonju Lee clan and was also known by his pen names Sanam, Sanuen, and Sanwoo. Ree was the uncle of politician Lee Hoi-chang. His contributions to chemistry have left a notable legacy in South Korea.
